  • AvatarTech Awarded BEAD Grant to Expand Broadband Access in Underserved Communities

AvatarTech, a leading technology company, has been awarded a prestigious Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) grant from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). This grant will enable AvatarTech to address the pressing issue of limited broadband access in underserved communities and bridge the digital divide.

With the BEAD grant funding, AvatarTech aims to deploy state-of-the-art high-speed internet infrastructure in unserved and underserved areas across [State’s served or to be served]. The company will conduct extensive research and data collection to identify the communities most in need of broadband connectivity. By leveraging their expertise and innovative technologies, AvatarTech will work towards eliminating the barriers that have prevented these communities from accessing the opportunities offered by the digital world.

In addition to deploying broadband networks, AvatarTech’s grant project will focus on improving service to community anchor organizations, including schools, libraries, healthcare facilities, and public safety organizations. By enhancing their internet connectivity, these vital institutions will be empowered to deliver better services, provide advanced educational resources, and ensure public safety in the digital age.

Furthermore, AvatarTech recognizes the importance of digital equity and will allocate a portion of the grant funds to adoption programs and digital inclusion initiatives. By partnering with local organizations and community leaders, AvatarTech will offer digital literacy training, digital skills development programs, and affordable internet access to individuals and families who have

been historically underserved.

“We are thrilled to receive the BEAD grant and the opportunity to make a significant impact on digital equity and broadband access in our communities,” said Cheryl Moo-Young, COO of AvatarTech. “We believe that everyone should have equal opportunities to thrive in the digital world, and this grant allows us to work towards achieving that vision. We look forward to collaborating with local stakeholders and empowering underserved communities with reliable broadband connectivity.”

AvatarTech encourages members of the public, local governments, and community organizations to engage in the process and provide valuable insights to ensure the success of this grant project. Together, we can build a more inclusive and connected future for all.
